prev # Thursday, Jun. 10, 2004 11:21 p.m. # next new phrase of the weekFrom Ginger's blog: like Vin Die•sel (lIk vin 'dE-z&l) simile The firm, perhaps misguided, belief that a person or work has the potential for greatness, though all evidence seemingly points to the contrary. Usage: "I know the last two Star Wars movies were kind of sucky, but I swear the next one is going to be AWESOME. It's like Vin Diesel." I came up with this the other night, along with Ginger, Shannon, and Winfield, cause I was (am) convinced that Vin Diesel has some mysterious potential we may never see in action. Start using this phrase now. Check out Ginger's page for a blurb about our recent Moby encounter, too. And here's my FREE gym in Charleston. Snooty and fancy and fabulous. Gotta love it. New music this week: Franz Ferdinand (Brits- they rock!!!), and the new blues album by Etta James. Lovely. R.I.P. Ray Charles. Sad sad day. |
