Hello hello *hola!*I just purchased my tickets to my first-ever U2 CONCERT!!!! WHEEEE!!!!!!! The "Vertigo" tour, May 14 in Philly, baby. It'll be Jeremy's first U2 show too, amazingly enough - he got screwed last time, but this WILL happen. I was rather frustrated because I was not lucky enough to get the general admission floor tickets that I REALLY wanted, but side mezzanine is a heckuva lot better than nothing, right??? Right. Mostly I was mad cause it was a computer thing, and if I'd realized that in time I coulda switched computers. Oh well. So it goes. I'm also gonna try for tickets to the NYC Madison Square Garden show, and go with Ginger who, as an 80s teen, has a special place in her heart for our boys from Dublin (though she goes without the obsession I have developed). I figure if she goes to see Hanson every 2 days, I can see U2 twice in a week, right? :)

Today involves spontaneous working in the box office - I was here to get the tickets, and the guy who was supposed to work got in a "bike accident" and didn't come in. So more money for me! Rock.
Having fun in the show I'm doing now, for a change. Two reviews, one great and one crappy, but even the crappy one said good things about me. I'm a "fine performer" - well, that according to the random yahoo writing for the Charleston City Paper, but still cool. I play a very very pregnant (3 weeks late) woman, and some OB/GYN docs at the show a couple weeks ago asked if I'd ever been pregnant before! Made my week. It closes on Saturday, and then I return to the world of children's theater for a few weeks. I've got Charlotte's Web (I play dorky adult Aunt Edith) in Feb, then Pump Boys & Dinettes and "Wild West Taming of the Shrew" (1 hour kid's version) in April - I know I'm in both but not sure of my roles yet. Relatively content with my job for the time being, and knowing I only have 3 months left makes it even nicer....
