Home again, home again, jiggety jigHi all! Back in the Lower 48 now, chilling with the folks in lovely Colorado. Sooooo nice to have a break, but I've been keeping myself pretty busy with doctors appointments, getting new glasses (finally!), hiking and such. I'm having minor surgery on Friday - no big deal, just removing a ganglion cyst on my left wrist. I'll be wearing a brace for at least a month or so afterward, but fortunately I have about that long before I'll be performing again. And I don't have to wear it all the time. It's my first surgery ever, aside from wisdom teeth, and it's almost exciting in a weird way. It's not risky in any way, as far as I can tell, so it'll just be a unique experience. They're not putting me under all the way, just numbing the arm and giving me a mild sedative, most likely. Which I guess means I'll be even more mellow & groovy than usual and talk about funny things.
Got very lonely last night, missing Jeremy again. Wondering if I did the right thing. I'm not going to explain it all on here - I don't think anyone reads this anymore, anyway - but suffice it to say that I'm feeling sad. I'll see him again in a month (to see U2!!!!!!!!!!) but things will never be the same, and that's hard.
