Great antlered beastsMy parents' "new" home, Estes Park (CO), is a fun place. Yesterday as we drove out of the neighborhood, we saw an elk nibbling at a bush on a neighbor's front lawn. Then today, on the way home from a horseback ride (whee!), there was a whole crowd of 'em, right next to the high school, splashing around in a little lake. Cool. Even in Alaska we didn't see animals so closely - most of the time. Except moose every now & then.
I dig the mountains.
