Music & pixDad's new CD is out! You can order it from his website. The newest one is Occupantional Hazard, and features my first original song (track #6, "Here With Me"), written last summer in Montana, and recorded last December. I'm really proud of it. So get a CD today!
I've also posted some pics on Yafro since I've been home. Open mic night last week, trip to NYC with Shannon, hiking, and such. I'll let the pics tell the stories I haven't told on here lately.
Had a lovely visit to Lincoln this weekend. Only a bit of awkwardness and discomfort came from looking my mistakes straight in the eye. Everyone was very cool, and old wounds are being healed. Good times had by all. Saw mom's mom, my 90-year-old grandma, who seems relatively happy, just sometimes mixes up her dreams & reality. I hope I get to see her again...this was the first time I really thought that, and it was troubling. Also saw her sister, 97-year-old Alice, who, when I forgot the name of a family friend (and she remembered it!!), said to me, "You're too young to have a senior moment!" Wow. She's doing well, that Alice. Her other sister lived to be 103.
Back in Lincoln again in another year, perhaps. Who knows.
