SC license plate: "Smiling Faces. Beautiful Places." 3. SC has weird liquor laws -- bars can only sell hard alcohol by tiny little airplane bottles - NO big ones! Makes ordering shots pretty challenging. :) Oh well, at least it's not crazy Pennsylvania. 4. Despite being a fancy-schmancy, rich tourist town, things aren't *too* expensive. 5. Everyone is beautiful here. Including my fellow interns. I'm not sure I've ever worked with such an attractive group of kids. Yee haw! 6. "And I ran, I ran so far away" 7. The Dock Street Theatre (where I'll be performing) is built on the site of the "first theatre built on American soil". 8. A good 80s cover band can rock the house more than I ever imagined: Jessie's Girl, Blister in the Sun, Hit me With Your Best Shot, My Sharona, Papa Don't Preach, Come On Eileen... love it! 9. My roommate (from Atlanta) knows someone I know from Illinois (Phil Wackerfuss, any IWU folks?? remember?) 10. There appear to be many more mullets in Bloomsburg, PA than either Shelby, NC or Charleston, SC. I could be wrong, but that's what I've noticed. 11. The ocean down here is WARM, even at night! YAY! Speaking of, I'm gonna go play in some waves! 15 minutes away, baby... |
